Self-paced learning. Most students finish in around 12 weeks, studying 8–10 hours per week. You’ll have up to 14 weeks to complete the course, which includes two holiday weeks (optional).

Literacy Skills Information

We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework literacy levels of at least 3 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your course of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this course.       Cost: Full fee $230.00
      Description: This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to generate design solutions in response to a particular design need. The unit applies to those who generate concepts and solutions in response to a design challenge in any industry context. The starting point may be an open or closed brief; a spontaneous idea; modification of an existing product, service, process or system; or a point in an ongoing design process.

      Description: This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to use typography techniques in design work. Typography may be applied in print jobs such as brochure and publication layout, poster and logo design or to websites, motion graphics and information graphics. At this level, work would be undertaken independently, but within established guidelines and with guidance as required.

      Description: This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to research and apply techniques to produce graphic design work. Research, experimentation and refinement are used to produce a range of general design works. Individuals generally produce work independently, with guidance as required.
