In this hands-on eight-week course perfect for aspiring filmmakers and storytellers, you'll explore the foundations of filmmaking, including camerawork, lighting, editing and storytelling. You'll learn how to create storyboards and scripts that bring your ideas to life and discover the importance of these elements in movie preparation.
Through interactive workshops, you'll refine your storytelling skills, pitch your scripts for production and collaborate on projects with the potential to become entries in local or national film festivals.
This course also provides valuable experience with professional tools and techniques.

This course will be delivered on-campus over ten (10) weeks. Classes are delivered for eight (8) of these weeks, with a break of two (2) weeks in the middle. It has an expected study commitment of 12 hours per week, over 2 full days of face-to-face classes. |
