This course will equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to support individuals dealing with alcohol and other drug issues, including specialist techniques and theories vital for effective client intervention and health promotion. You will gain hands-on experience through interactions with industry experts and project-based learning, preparing you for roles in community-based organisations, withdrawal services, and residential rehabilitation.

 Full-time or part-time equivalent. 4 terms between 9-10 weeks each term. Approximately 18-20 hours per week of face-to-face learning and assessment. With up to an additional 15 hours a week for self-directed learning and assessment preparation.
